The Return of The Blog

HELLO FRIENDS.

Yes, it is I. Abandoner of the blog, conqueror of the dissertation, ecstatic amateur of the ukulele, wearer of orange boots and consumer of the Galaxy chocolate bar (this particular title may have something to do with my most recent activity of late). I have decided to make a blogging comeback. Why, you ask? Well there is one simple answer to your question, oh fine fellow human, and that is PROCRASTINATION. Procrastination from exam revision - it's a serious art.

You see, the time is now upon us students for us to don our backpacks, which may or may not contain see-through plastic pencil cases, and venture forth into the unknown lands of the Exams. What we will find there, noone truly knows (although some tutors have decided to share potential exam questions with students thus making them demand, I quote, 'excellent exam answers'... nice one, thanks for that). Down we will sit at a hopefully-not-wobbly desk with our writing utensils and unlabelled water bottles, waiting for someone who only emerges in the summer months to announce how we should write one answer per answer booklet and fold the sticky bit over our names as indicated, in order to shield our identities from the world of examiners. Despite this being around the 20th time we've heard this in our lives, some of us still fail to remember to switch booklets and end up madly scribbling and having a quarter-life crisis in the last ten minutes of the exam. Some of us *ahem*-not me-*ahem* end up folding the sticky bit half way across the exam paper so our names and library card numbers are hardly identifiable and we end up silently swearing as we try to peel it back off, only to find that it is simply impossible.

This is just a short post to say GOOD LUCK to all the fellow exam-takers out there. You have the powaaaaah to smash it, and you will.

R xxxxx
